What is multilingual user acceptance testing (UAT)?

In a nutshell, user acceptance testing is the process of verifying that a solution works for the users: in other words, those who will be using your website or platform, potentially on a daily basis, but in the new target countries

Our clients ask us to ensure that detailed psychometric surveys still follow the correct paths, or that a software program’s algorithms are still reaching the same medical diagnosis in the new language. Or simply that an online store’s checkout system still routes the customer to the payment section – with all the text in all the right places!

We provide them with a comprehensive report so that they can fix the issues before they launch – leaving them with much more satisfied customers at the end.

Dialogue’s user acceptance testing services

We have a team of professional multi-lingual e-testers, all of whom are experienced in working through platforms and software in a systematic way. They are skilled in spotting inconsistencies, defects, linguistic or layout issues, as well as general usability problems that might crop up.

As part of our user acceptance testing services, we follow the remit you have in place, but amongst other things we check performance as follows:

  • How usable is this application/website?
  • Does it perform across all the pages?
  • Is the language correct and consistent?
  • Does it still follow a logical process?
  • What’s the load time like/do the links work?
  • Does the application crash?

User Acceptance Testing FAQs

Any developers rolling out new software, websites, or end user platforms who want to check prior to launch that all sections are behaving as they should for the end user.

UAT involves test users trialling the new software/website and is normally priced on an hourly basis, starting from £50. The length of time required is dependent upon complexity and size of the platform but we will always provide you with a quote at the start.
