TRANSLATION PROJECT MANAGER

MY BACKGROUND:

I was born and raised in Verona, Italy, and always loved learning new languages and meeting new cultures. I graduated with a BA in Multilingual communication from the University of Geneva (Switzerland), moved to the UK to get a MA in Translation from Lancaster University and now live in sunny Cambridge!

PERSONAL FACT:

I am an avid thriller reader and often change my hair colour: right now it’s purple and fuchsia!

MY BACKGROUND:

I graduated from Cardiff University with a BA Hons in German. After graduating, I moved to Saxony, Germany, where I worked as a translator for a software company. Now I am back in the UK and I am delighted to be part of the Dialogue team as Translation Team Leader.

 

PERSONAL FACT:

I am a twin and am technically a Lord (my friends bought me 1 square foot of land in Scotland – apparently that makes you a lord now).

TRAINING CO-ORDINATOR & ASSISTANT FINANCE OFFICER
MY BACKGROUND:
After spending many years working in the public sector – firstly at the local Magistrates Court as an Administrator and then at the local College as an Apprenticeship Training Coordinator, I wanted to work somewhere more independent and personal. Now the main Co-Ordinator for all of Dialogue’s language training requests, I enjoy combining my skills to ensure our clients are satisfied and enjoy our bespoke programmes.
 

PERSONAL FACT:

My head is usually in a history book and I love sci-fi films.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR

MY BACKGROUND:

My language whirlwind started with an early childhood in Turkey, picking up in Vienna, then peaking Moscow and St. Petersburg. After graduating in Russian and German at Bath I discovered the pleasures of helping others to speak in foreign tongues until the translation bug got me. Having run my own translation agency for a while I found it was much more fun joining forces with Rob and Nic and many, many years later I haven’t looked back!

 

PERSONAL FACT:

If you want to make me smile: plonk me in a kayak on the sea with a bucketful of fresh oysters!

I graduated in French from the University of London umpteen years ago. I fell into teaching by chance 30 years ago and have had a ball ever since. I also love film editing and while away winter evenings playing with all things IT.

I have a mug that says on it: “I am silently correcting your grammar.” Sinister, but probably true.
